OUR PASTOR

My passion is to see Discover Life Church and every person who comes onto our grounds leave with the undeniable awareness of encountering the life-changing presence of God. My deepest sense of fulfillment comes from knowing that we've spent time with the Master; and as a ministry, that we've provided practical tools for individuals to cultivate His presence in their daily lives.

At Discover Life, our priority is pursuing His presence; because great things happen when His presence is the focus of all that we do. From His presence, we're able to discover purpose, develop potential and deploy people as agents of life change. And only then, will people be fully able to embrace and experience life as God designed.

About Us

Discover Life Church is a non-denominational church that began meeting in the summer of 2007. Pastor Roy Barrett along with a few others initiated the journey of providing a place where any person could experience the life changing power of God’s presence and the authentic love of His people.

  • Family: Married to Krystal; 2 sons, Tyler and Ryan; 1 daughter, Reaghan

  • Favorite Musician: Israel & Newbreed, Passion
  • What Many People Do Not Know About Me: That a great day is watching the western classics, Bonanza and Big Valley; eating white powered doughnuts.
