WHAT ARE LIFE GROUPS?

Life Groups at DLC are small communities of 4–15 people who meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly in homes, coffee shops, and online to share life together. These groups create intentional spaces for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and spiritual development - helping believers grow deeper in Christ while offering a welcoming environment for those seeking to learn more about God and faith.

 

Through our two Life Group pathways, people can find meaningful connection and intentional spiritual development. Affinity Groups focus on building authentic relationships and community, while Spiritual Development Groups focus on discipleship, spiritual growth, and becoming more like Christ in everyday life.

Everyone is welcome to join a Life Group. Our Life Groups are designed to create a welcoming environment where people from all walks of life can come as they are, build meaningful relationships, and grow in community together.


Anyone who has completed our iDiscover Class is eligible to lead a Life Group. While we encourage leaders to have previously participated in a Life Group to gain firsthand experience, it is not a requirement. We welcome individuals who are passionate about helping others grow in their faith and building authentic community.



To become a Life Group Leader, simply complete the application linked below. Once your application is submitted, our Spiritual Development team will review it and follow up with you within 2–3 business days regarding the next steps.

Uganda Missions Trip Update
Out of an abundance of caution and after careful prayer and consideration, Discover Life Church has made the decision to postpone our Uganda Missions Trip to Summer 2027 due to the current Ebola outbreak in the region.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported this mission through prayer and generous giving. Please know that all donations received will be securely reserved and applied toward the Summer 2027 mission trip.

While our travel plans have changed, our commitment to serving the people of Uganda has not. We appreciate your continued prayers for our ministry partners, those affected by the outbreak, and our future mission efforts.
