Pastor Krystal Barrett

Krystal Lynne Barrett is a native of Virginia Beach, VA where she grew up as the youngest of three girls in a loving, Christian home. She is a graduate of Spelman College with a B.A. in English with a concentration in Communications.

During her college years, Krystal committed to a life of ministry and became the campus leader for New Generation Campus Ministries, a national parachurch ministry designed to develop Christian leaders in a biblio-centric worldview. After graduating, she remained in Atlanta to help in a church plant where she blended her corporate and ministerial experience into effective service in administration, marketing, and ministry to women and children.

For over 11 years, Krystal Barrett has served alongside her husband as they lead Discover Life Church in Norcross, GA. As Executive Pastor, Krystal is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the church, and her heart’s passion reflects the church’s mission of seeing individuals discover their purpose, develop their potential, and deploy into a life of kingdom service.

Krystal and her husband, Roy, reside in Acworth, GA and keep themselves busy raising their three children—Tyler, Ryan, and Reaghan.
